Question of the Day
Amy, you are in Orlando, right? I need to change pcp, cuz mine is not being very helpfull, he was against my WLS the whole time, so I went to see him today because my ankles are so swollen and he wasn't very nice... kinda "I told you not to do it" type of attitude... He even admited that he knows absolutely nothing about WLS...
Do you know any pcps in the orlando area that are good about stuff like that? Does anybody around here gets grief from their pcps as well?!
BTW, I weight in at 193lbs. 3 weeks ago and now I am 196lbs. So sad..., I hope it is all water weight.. Maybe the water pills he gave me will take care of that...
Flavia,
My PCP is Raul Tamayo in Altamonte Springs on Wekiva Springs Blvd. but to be honest, I usually ask to see his Physician's Assistant, Alex. She has been so supportive and I can get an appt with her much quicker than I can with him. I have seen him before when I broke my elbow and he was very nice, but he is busy, busy, busy! But I hear folks in the waiting room who just love him to peices. They have had several patients who have had WLS and actually Alex recommended it to me as an option when I broke down during a visit last year. Little did she know, I had been considering it for a few years. I cant wait to see her again next week, I was supposed to go this morning, but I overslept. I guess my body knew I took a vacation day today and didnt want me to get up at the usual time

Kimie, I painted my last bedroom a dark burgundy and kept it that way for an entire week before depression set in. The room itself didn't get enough light and the added dark paint made it seem like a cave. My sister has a burgundy sitting room and I just LOVE the color! It's very rich looking and I bet your room is too.
