I'm Home! NO PAIN SURGERY!

Surgery went great! In Wednesday and out Saturday morning. NO PAIN ! (except in my lower back!). Loss 20 more lbs on two week liquid diet! Total of 40 lbs loss BEFORE surgery Went to sleep at 11:30 p.m. at night and up at 4:30a.m.-6:00a.m. everyday at hospital to WALK the halls. Walked everyday every hour, maybe that's why I had NO PAIN! Been home five days now and still NO PAIN and no pain MEDS needed. Life on my new journey is starting out GREAT! (Lap RNY)

Way to go!! You have this weight loss under control. You are my hero today. I will be having the surgery soon and I want to do it just like you. Congrats on the beginning of what sounds to be a wonderful journey. Carol

Sharon, Congrats on your surgery and great job walking! I'm sure there are plenty of us who wish we could say we didnt have some pain, but I will admit it wasn't as bad as I had imagined it would be. You are doing a great job with everything! Keep it up Amy

I don't understand the "no pain" thing, but I'm sure happy for you. Every day I move more and more and can bend and reach places all by myself now, but I would never say it was pain-free. I would say it was easier that it could have been, though!! Congratulations!! Jan
