No electric at home, but I'm ok

Just wanted to let everyone know that Vero Beach is starting to come back from Frances. I still don't have electric at home, but my work place (a newspaper) does so I can check email here. My home didn't receive much damage, just soffit and landscaping. Some of my co-workers lost everything so I feel very fortunate. My weight loss has continued even during these trying times. I am attempting to get protein in, but it's hard since I don't have electric. Hopefully within the next couple of days electric will come back on in my neighborhood. I was worried about the Vero folks! My friend's family lives out there and her father's apartment was destroyed. He was able to save a lot of his belongings though, but he doesn't have a home. Poor guy! I am glad you are doing ok though!

Glad to hear you are okay there in Vero Beach. Congrats on the weight loss and hang in there. They say electric will be back to all soon.
