Burning mad:(

I am so burning mad that it is not even funny. My paper work was sumitted on the 23rd of Aug. It is still in review, but when I called to check on it I spoke with Vincent at Aetna he said " it is still in review and it looks like from your file that Joyce at the surgeons office was called two days ago about nutritional paper work and she told Marcia that all the paper work was sent." I was then told by Vincent that I should call my surgoens office and have them call Marcia back and tell them to put the paper work thru to the medical director now instead of the Oct. 4th date that Marcia wants it sumitted to the medical director. Now why in the world would they need to wait until Oct. 4th to let the medical director view it and say yes or no? Why not just sed it NOW or ASAP. I am just fuming mad . Karen Legge Seminole, Fl.

Karen, I'm sorry to hear someone over there is dragging there feet. Definitly make sure you give the surgeons office a call and tell them to get a move on it!!!! The wait is always the hardest thing! I hope they everything sent to the director and pronto! Good Luck! Michelle.

I did speak with Joyce at the surgeons office and she said that everthing was supposed to be sent on that day not on Oct. 4th. and that she was leaving it at that. so I will call again on Monday if i don't get the answer I want on Saturday. Karen, I have nothing good to say about Aetna, so I won't say anything about them. I just hope you have better luck with them, than I did. Good luck. Steve

Hang in there Karen! I sent medical records to my surgeon's office TWICE this summer and both times it was MISPLACED! 2 months was added onto my waiting time for approval but it finally happened. hey girlfriend, i know your tired of waiting for an answere .it took me a year to get everything together,it seems like a long rough road to travel,but it makes you appreciate it more once you get that approval believe me i know.your in my heart and prayers and you know i'm here wheneve you need to vent. love and hugs brenda
