GOD HELP US FROM THE WRATH OF IVAN

Thank you, we'll need all the prayers we can get here in this beautiful state of Florida. I think this may be the one that drives me out of state if my long-distance boyfriends sister wants me to come stay with them. They extended an offer for Frances, so I don't see why they wouldn't for this bad boy Ivan. Maybe this will push me and Michael closer together and good things will happen? /sigh I hope so. Anyway I am praying this storm falls apart or goes back out to sea and misses everyone all together as far as the U.S. goes!

I pray Ivan does not even come in Florida's direction. I have worked several 12 hours shifts with no days off starting with Charley. I can not begin to think about working through a third storm. I am just thankful it's over and I survived. Sometimes being a public servant can really require a lot. I'm not complaining just tired. I pray the best for each of you. Lovetta

Ahhhh, I'm in Lee Co. (Fort Myers/Lehigh Acres) and this is starting to suck!!!!!!!!! Plus this thing is probably going to ruin my vacation too Danielle

Talk about ruining Vacations????? My hubby and I are on vacation now....and are keeping a constan****ch on IVan the Terrible. I dont want to see it hit Florida in any kinda way. Seems like every time I check on its direction it changes every so often to our way...< I am jsut above NW FL> Anyways....lets pray it takes a haaarrrrddd Right back into the Atlantic...we dont need an of this!! I live in Port Charlotte my home suffered about $50K in damages and my office is a total loss. To top it off I'm an insurance agent! Working from a small trailer in the parking lot with my husband no further than 10 feet away at all times. It is getting frightfully tight in here! God speed Ivan into oblivian!

Laurie, I'm so sorry to hear you suffered that much damage. We also had damage but only 15,000. I guess it was due to the stricter building codes,my home is 8 yrs old. Keep safe and lay low...I tired to book a flight since Thursday to ANYWHERE and can't get out of Fort Myers. I considered getting in the car and just driving as far as I could but the highways are so busy...it might be wiser to just stay here and pray as loud as possible Ivan disapates.
