Need new PCP. Any advice?

Hi everyone! I found out that my PCP is moving into another practice and further out. I never did like the guy anyway, so I figure now is a good time to get another doctor. Can anyone recommend a PCP? He/She doesn't necessarily have to be one who jumps on the WLS bandwagon. I basically need a good Dr that I can go to for the regular stuff. Of course, being a WLS friendly Dr is always good, but I am already in the midst of approval now anyway. I need someone in Tampa also. Thanks!

Hello! My sister goes to Dr. Ashok Bhat who is very nice. He is on 613 W MLK between North Blvd and Florida 237-1958. He is really nice and so is his office staff. Otherwise if you are going with Dr. Murr (and even if you aren't) call USF Physicians Group 974-2201 and they will be able to refer you to someone in their group (thats who Dr. Murr is with). Since they work with doctors who do WLS I would think they would be very understanding and help you get things covered through your insurance that otherwise you would have to pay out of pocket. Thanks Ashley! I have heard of Dr Bhat before. I will see if he is on my insurance plan. I will also check USF, I never thought of using them! haha
