Survived storm and gallblader surgery

Hi all, I just wanted to let everyone know that I survived my gallblader surgery and the hurricane,,, I went in the hospital friday and home on sat, then sat my family cleaned up the yard and did last minute erronds then came the storm,, it lasted 2 days,, it really sucked, luckily for me I only lost cable for 2 1/2 days, a few tree branches and piece of my privacy fence,,, boy my yard is a mess today,, the kids are off school today,, they havent been to school since thursday, they are driving me nuts, then no cable on top of that,, most of my neighborhood lost power for 2 days-we were lucky, we watched a chunk of the roof of my neighbors peel off,, mine is good, sure I have a few new leaks but intime will get fixed, hopefull before the next hurricane that is out there named Ivan,, there is talk it is heading towards the gulf of mexico-that where I live,,, anyhooo,, thanks for listening,,, I got a few more scars, my DH says he can play connect the dots on my belly when I heal,,, hee hee,,, chow, I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend and stayed safe,, Christy

Christy, Congratulations on your GB Surgery & Frances survival! During any storm I think among the worst "discomforts" is being all shuttered and no electricity. But we were spared Frances real temper. Hope your healing goes well. God bless. LuvitsunnyV@goal

Christy, Glad you made it thru surgery and the storm without problems. It was definitely a rough weekend, and I give you lots of brownie points for going thru so much together . I know you're probably not an expert, but is it typical to need your gall bladder out so soon after surgery? I know a large percentage of post ops need it removed, but I thought it was usually further out. I was lucky, mine came out suring surgery. Just curious tonight I guess... Amy
