everyone ok?
We were without power about 20 hrs at our home in So. Miami. I took my daughter back to college in Lakeland this morning and really saw some widespread damage from Pompano Beach area all the way thru to Lakeland. I called State Route 60 where "Charley met Frances."
I feel so bad for the people in that area. I went thru some pretty bad rain/storm cells going and coming~~whew! I am so glad to be home.

Hope everyone else is doing fine...Tricia
Hi It's me here in the panhandle. We are fine also. Just saw our share of rain and wind. Not too much damage in my area. Just limbs and a few trees. We kept power but they closed bridges on all sides of me so we stayed in. Hope we hear from all parts of Florida and let us know how everyone is. I have missed hearing everyone on the board the last couple days.

Hi all we made it through just got power restored about an hour ago 52 hours with out power makes you glad when you get it back. We have several homes around us that have some damage from trees and limbs down. Beautiful Dade City will take awhile to get that title back all these oak trees it is sad to see so many of them down. I am glad to see everyone responding and letting us know your alright! Take Care all....

I'm in Lake Worth and other than my yard getting trashed, we made it through OK. Pretty much everyone in my neighborhood lost at least one tree and some fencing, but luckily not too much house damage. I only saw one house and one car that got hit by a tree on my block (at least from what I could see from the street). We were without power for 2 days, the phone has a dial tone but only actually works ocasionally, and my ISP is still down (I'm logged on at work...in Coral Springs). Luckily we are on county water so we are not having to boil. We had a pretty scarry Saturday night, the wind was blowing so hard for so long it seemed like it would never end (we had hurricane force winds for 6 - 8 hours). The house stood up much better than my nerves. I do not think that I could go through another storm like this. If Ivan heads our way...ugh, I do not want to even think about it...
