In Ocala, however, that means gusty winds and lots of little branches down and rain, rain, rain. I did lose power last night from about 2 a.m. until about 3 hours later, but it's back on! So far, so good!! I hope the rest of you are faring well, but there are a TON of people out there without power, so I don't expect to hear too much on this board today. Stay safe!!!! Jan

Hey guys, We are getting about 70 ml/hr winds here. I havent been outside .. but just to look. So I have no idea how the debree is. We are one of the few that still has electricity.. and im sure it will go soon. We are in west Orlando and we will be getting our worst in about an hour. I will keep everyone posted if I can. HEllo, I am here in Bradenton and so far only a pole for an outside light was knocked down yesterday in a gust. Thank goodness it fell away from the pool screen! We are supposed to get the bad side after its passed by so I will keep my fingers crossed. I have a houseful of family from prefab homes staying with me. Stay safe Elaine

We're getting about the same here in Jax, wind and rain. We've had a couple of tornado warnings, and they thought there was one in Orange Park. People in various sections of Jax have lost power, thankfully we haven't. I hope the winds don't get too bad, don't exoect them to, because my idiot neighbor left all their junk and I do mean ALL, on their back pation to come flying at our truck and home. Everyone be safe! Sitting here in Clearwater. With lots of wind. Some branches down from the palm trees but so far so good. Worst is still to come though. So far no loss of electricityfor me, but my Mom who lives in Largo is already without power. Keeping everyone in my prayers

Jan, I am so glad to see you post and to know you and the cats are doing OK. I've been monitoring Ocala weather too, I am so hopeful your surgery will not be delayed. I'm crossing my fingers and toes here for ya ! I have been waiting for the power to go out here but so far, so good. I dont know how I managed to miss out this far since many friends and family near me have been without power, some since yesterday afternoon. Hey, I'm not complaining one bit . We're still under curfew and cant leave the house until tomorrow 6am. Earlier, I went into my garage to open the door during a lull to see what it looked like outside, mostly just small tree limbs and leaves everywhere. Anyway, I guess my automatic garage door didnt close after I went back inside. I didnt realize it and took a snoozee for a couple hours . I just went back out to my garage to discover the door was wide open and the peice of drywall that covers my attic opening had fallen out , I am so glad that nothing else happened. I'll need to get up there and make sure everything is OK in the attic and get a new peice of drywall or wood to cover the gapping hole in my garage ceiling. If that is the worst thing that happens, I will be so happy! Talk to you soon. Amy

It is just a matter of hours from starting up here. I am so glad to hear that hse is no longer a hurricane. I hope she gets even weaker. PRAY PRAY PRAY PRAY!!! BECKY
