HI!!!! I'm back from surgery...

Hi everyone, I'm finally back home. I had surgery on wed (8/25) and I have to say that luckily everything went great. The hospital was fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better hospital experience. I was in alot of pain right after the surgery, but in my case, it got alot better as the days went on. Today, just 3 days after my surgery, the only pain I have is in the left side. If it gets really bad I take a darvocet, but so far it's been ok. I find that I can't hardly eat...it's a little disgusting to me and drinking water is now a mission. I drink it cold, and my pouch is fine with it...but I think since i'm not eating that much, drinking so much water is making me feel funny. I'm very very swollen in the abdomen...kinda look like i'm pregnant, but I weighted myself when I got home today and i've already lost 9 pounds..woohoo. hey kimberly...how are you??? i'll be emailing you this week to give you all the info...for the most part i recovered better than normal, but I have to admit the pain on the left side is still kicking...it's bad and I just can't wait for it to go away so I can sleep in my bed again. Hey sweetiepie...how are you feeling??? You know i got so happy with all the responses that I've gotten, I feel lucky to have such great WLS sisters. Yeah, the eating part is horrible, but luckily i'm not hungry at all (but the protein situation is not good, today i only had like 25 grms of protein and i'm supposed to be eating around 65.) I just can't eat so much...yuck. I'll definitely keep ya updated and update me on how your doing... love ya..Mady
