Today's Meet and Greet

We had a great time today! There were 22 (yup, 22!) of us from the FL board who showed up and shared stories, support, advice, pics and more. Today was true example of how wonderful this board has been for me and so many others. Thank you to all of you who drove a long distance and gave up some of your precious weekend time. For those of you who didn't make it today or live too far away to come to Central Florida, I hope you find a support group locally or start your own Meet and Greet gathering so you can find a network of friends who truly understand our WLS journey. No one understands the struggles unless they have walked in our shoes too. Thanks again to everyone who came today Ooops, and a special thank you to Steve for playing photographer. Take care, Amy

Glad you had a great time. I am just too far today. Maybe I will be over that way sometime when a meet is going on. My parents have a home over that way and I go that way sometimes. Carol

Thanks so much, that is so sweet! I am so glad you made it today! I think I am going to go tomorrow. Unless there is drama at work, I should be able to leave there by 1:30pm tomorrow and be at Chili's in Altamonte at 2pm. Hope you make it too

It was fun, I agree, but first of all, Amy wears glasses and her hair is MUCH lighter than her picture shows and she's doing really well, so her face is definitely showing the changes (as well as other body parts). Speaking of pictures, Chazlin is GORGEOUS in real life and is also down quite a bit, so her picture is also obsolete. We all decided that we ALL need to get pictures up on the board!!! Steve looked exactly like his picture and we all recognized him right away! And we also decided that we ALL need to post more and get to know each other more. Let's bring those lurkers out and get 'em posting!!!!!! Can't wait to meet you all again!!! Jan

jan u are too funny! u are the type of person that people love to be around! i only wish that u lived closer, but maybe when i go up for my appointments, sometime we can get together and have coffee! it was great meeting you!

Hey Amy, Sorry I couldn't be there. My DH is in the hospital again and my son and uncle have been helping me clean up from Hurricane Charlie. I hope there is an other one soon. I miss you all. I haven't been able to come home until last night, lol. Angie
