Question of the Day

Happy Thursday, Everyone! While I was growing up, we always had cookies in the house. My Dad did (and still does) all the grocery shopping so it's all his fault ! Now as adults, all of us kids have continued the cookie trend and we are all fanatics. Anyway, prior to WLS, my favorites were Vienna Fingers and Pecan Sandies, somehow I convinced myself if I bought the Reduced Fat version, they were OK for me . What was/is your favorite kind of cookie before or after WLS? Now that I have had surgery, I finally have found a cookie that is low carb and sugar free that I love, they are Pizelles by Gold-D-Lite and I have found them on a couple websites. Yummy!

My favorite cookie was Peanut Butter - close 2nd was oreos. I am a slow loser, so I am scared to try cookies. But would love to. I'm going to try to make it Sat. Have a wonderful day. tina

Pre-op, Oreos or anykind of Peanut butter cookies. Post-op, I don't keep cookies in the house at all, I am a cookie monster, and if I eat one, I'll eat the whole box, so if I really want one, I go to the sugar free store, and buy one or two at a time.

I think I have to agree with Steve on this one "OREO". But, I liked mine dipped in a glass of cold milk and man were they great... I loved them.. Now I am just 12 days post op so nothing sounds good L Take care ~ Robin

OK....OK.......I got this answer!!!! My favorite cookie is a homemade, still warm, oatmeal-raisin-pecan cookie. Yummy.....Second is a warm chocolate chip cookie.....YumYum........Think I'll have one for breakfast. (just kidding) I no longer keep them in the house. If I do make some, I make sure my husband and girls eat a couple then I head down the street to give them away. I am a member of "eat them all" club and can't be trusted. Have a great day. PS The sugar free Murray cookies in the grocery are pretty good. Carol

Hi Amy, Gosh with all the oreo fans out there I think that I should go buy stock in Nabisco. My favorite is my homemade Neiman Marcus chunky choc. chip. Hugh and yummy. I make them only at Christmas and this year -guess what? Maybe I'll put the ingredients in a jar and give them away that way. LOL Deanna

Hi Amy, My favorite cookies were Oreos and chocolate chip. Now I like Archway sugar free oatmeal cookies. I have one about once a week now. But since the surgery I do not crave sweets. Talk to you soon! Christine
