Dr. Yasrebi, Jacksonville..

Has anyone had laparoscopic LapBand surgery (not gastric bypass) from Dr. Yasrebi? I could have sworn that a while back people posted that he did there LapBand surgery, but someoine else told me he is not licensed to do LapBand, only gastric bypass. Thanks for any information.

Hello! I had gastric bypass with Dr Yasrebi last month. I too remember seeing something on here about him doing Lap but I am 99% sure he only does the open gastric bypass. He's a wonderful surgeon though and you'd be in very capable hands if you wind up deciding on this type of surgery instead. Dr. Shariatt in Jacksonville Beach does lap band and vertical banding if you find that Dr. Yasrebi does not do that procedure.

Dr. Webb also does the Lap band. He is located in the same complex that Dr. Yasrebi.
