Iam going to try to get my surgery covered by medicaid does anyone know if it is easy to get approved by them Iam worried.....I really need this!!Thank you Kim

They do cover it. However you will need at least 1 year of diet history. If all else fails Vocational Rehab will cover it 100%. Stay in touch.

hi Kimberly, I am also on medicaid...from what I understand is that if it is proven medically necessary they aren't that hard to deal with as long as your PCP is going along with it and recommends it...hope that has helped you a little...have a great day April

Hi Kimberly, I don't know what kind of Medicaid you have. I will tell you though that myself and several other people on the board have Medicaid~Medipass. I know I got an approval in less then 5 days with Medipass. The surgeons office did all the leg work and submitted everything for me. It all went by really fast. Good Luck with your journey! MICHELLE
