GOT EVERYTHING TOGETHER NOW WHAT ?????
Hi Everybody !!!
Just wanted to keep everybody up to date with everything that's happening. My doctor Anthony Gonzalez's coordinator has all the paperwork except for the 3 month minimum paperwork that says that I tried a diet. I went to the Diabetes Clinic a while back and they gave me a diet that I did not for long but then stopped. My endocrinologist has nothing about diets on me and my pcp said that the 3 times that I have been to his office I lost pounds and that this might not help me get approved.....please give me some advise..... I already have the rest of the requirements but since I have AETNA they need to see that I tried some kind of supervised diet for at least 3 months in the last 2yrs. We havent sent anything to AETNA yet. Anybody out there ?????
Please let me know.......thanks a bunch guys....

The fact that you lost a little wieght does not hurt thr cause. You can get approved by Aetna pending completion of the diet records. I had just about every co-morbidity so They approved without firm records showing the diet. I am a diabetic and ended up in the hospital 2-3 times a year because my suger count would spike to over 600. This happened almost like clock work when I would lose betwenn 20-30 ponds. Don't give up. Once I made sure that Aetna had what they wanted it went real fast.
