Surgical consult today
Hello everyone...I guess I was justed excited and wanted to share with everyone..I completed all of the pre-requirements for my surgeon (Dr. Wizman) and had my surgical consult today. It went very well..and I am extremely pleased...Dr. Wizman said that with my BMI and other co-morbidities (high blood pressure, back pain, joint pain, etc) I should have no problem getting my insurance to approve me. I don't want to get my hopes up, just in case..but it felt good to here that. The surgeon was very positive about everything..and I feel very safe in having chose him...we also went over all of the stuff that needs to be done once I get a date, in the month before the surgery..although I realize it is for my own safety..it sures seems like a lot and a bit overwhelming!
