Healthfood stores
Recently, I have been going to a healthfood store near me and looking at all they have to offer. I was pleasantly
surprised at how different it is now, compared to a couple years ago because of the recent low carb craze. They had low carb bakery items, zillions of protein bars and shakes, fresh organic veggies and fruits, as well as a ton of other things. I even found a product I had heard about on the Main board for scars called ScarGo and it was on sale for less than $5. Best of all, they sell lots of things in bins like nuts, cereals, beans, grains, dried fruits, etc. I can control how much or little I wants to try. My new favorite snack is a LF gingersnap granola, I put a little in my low carb yogurt for breakfast, it's yummy. I found all kinds of things that I think I can try.
Just a suggestion for those of you who avoid these places for fear of being seen as an aging Deadhead
, there were all types of folks there and we were all busy reading labels.
