Good Morning Everyone!! I was just wondering if anyone mentally or physically made a list of things that you wanted to do before surgery?? Like places to eat, places to go or people to visit?? Just kind of curious.. Karee

Hi Karee, First of all your surgery date is my daughter's birthday. So 4 years ago I had a c-section. I will be praying for all to go well. As for what I did before surgery, well I am Italian. I made arrangements to go to my Aunt Rita's for a homemade Italian feast. All my favorites, eggplant parmasean, meatballs, pasta, riceballs and stuffed artichoke. I was so full that I did not have room for the Italian pastries(canoli.....yum). I felt so sick it made me never want to feel that full again. Other than that I did not go anywhere because I knew that after some of this weight was off I can actually do more things. Good Luck with your surgery!!!!!!!!!!! Christine -40

Karee, I made a mental list of places I wanted to eat, and things I wanted to eat before surgery, just in case I couldn't eat them afterwards. As far as things to do before surgery, I just wanted to have the surgery, because I knew I would be able to do so much more afterwards. good luck.

I wanted to make a list of a 100 reasons why I wanted surgery, but I never finished it. I did have a mental list of places to eat for my "last suppers" prior to surgery. And the main reason I wanted surgery was to get rid of my back pain. I can say it is almost completely gone today after losing 57lbs. I feel so blessed to not have that pain holding me back anymore.
