I LIVED!!!!
Hi EVERYONE!!
Seems I made it through surgery with flying colors. No real problems except my knee went when I tried to walk at the hospital. So After several cortisone shots and a week in bed I'm at last up not exactly
but rolling again. This all truly feels strange, and I"m still trying to figure out all this water, meds, food, protein thingy. (Any suggestions are very welcome) Cause I feel like I'm
eggs. A special
For Christine C. she came and visited me at the hospital. Christine is 2 months out and she looks wonderful
A very lovely lady!! Thanks to everyone for their prayers and e-mails
Michele

Michele,
So glad things are looking brighter for you. Sorry to hear about your knee, that stinks but I bet it will heal better now that you are a "loser".
I'm not sure how many meds you are on or what vitamins you are taking yet, but I try to stagger mine thruout the morning so I dont feel like I have a "meal" of pills. I take half with my shake in the early morning, then the rest with my water mid-morning. Just a thought...
I have no suggestions or advice cause I haven't "been" there yet but CONGRATULATIONS on the successful surgery and start of what sounds like a great recovery. Today you are my HEROINE! I know you are glad that part is behind you
Sorry to hear about the knee but like Erika said , it will probably start getting better as you take the weight off.
Get on to losing.

Michelle, glad to hear you came through surgery well and hopefully as the weight comes off the pressure and pain will be relieved from your knee. I had lap RNY in Ft Lauderdale December 13, 2003. I really struggled getting in everything I needed to in those early weeks. Just do the best you can. I found that sugar free popsicles and sugar free jello helped me with the liquids. The main thing right now is not to get dehydrated.
God bless. luvitsunnyv

congratulations Michele, I 'm glad you are on the losing side, may your journey be swift and successful. The only thing I can tell you is too space out your pills, do not try to take them all at once. Get one of those pill minders that have places to put pills in three or four times a day. And very important, drink plenty of water.
