New to here

I am a pre-op patient and just joined your forum. I have to say that after reading alot of your posts I am getting a little more comfortable with the idea of having the surgery. I am now in the process of getting approval through my insurance company..and it seems that the closer I get, the more apprehensive I get. I have relied on food my entire life and am so worried about what I am going to do after the surgery ( well, that and the thought if complications!). Anyhow, just wanted to say hello and thanks for all of the great posts I have read so far. Tricia

WELCOME!!! I haven't been here too long either but these are great people on this board. They will help and answer any questions. I learn something everytime I get on here. If I have a question and no one else brings it up. I ASK!!! There is someone that knows it all cause it seems we are really in the same boat. Maybe some differences but I hear "my story" ever so often just reading others profiles. I, like you have never had any kind of surgery or hospital stay (except giving birth) so I have been nervous too BUT this board has helped a lot sooo..........THANKS TO A GREAT BOARD AND GLAD YOU ARE HERE Patricia !!!
