Question of the Day

Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here! I can remember being glued to the TV as a kid watching the Olympics with my parents. I enjoy the gymnastics and swimming events the most during the summer version, but love to watch most of the events during the winter version. I think I like the winter version best because so many of the events are dangerous, like skiiing, speed skating, luge, bobsledding, etc. How many of you plan on watching the Summer Olympics?

I am planning on watching right along with the children. Its funny how you said you remeber watching as a kid brings back all those memories. Linda R

I'll watch some of them, if I'm watching t.v., but lately I don't stay home and watch t.v. alot.

Hi Amy! Well, first let me say what a blessing you are...you post every day and answer questions..I really appreciate you. Next, YES, I will be watching the Olympics. I watch the winter and summer ones. I haven't missed an Olympics since 1968 and even remember some before then. My children think my middle name is Olympic. I love the track and field events and of course, the swimming and diving. I'll be watching the tennis, too. Heck, I will be watching every minute of it. Bonnie Bee

Awww Shucks, Bonnie! That is so sweet I have noticed since I starting coming here in March that quite a few folks drop off the FL board after they have their surgery and I want to try to NOT do that. So I visit here several times thruout the day and add my two cents. I hope I don't wear out my welcome at some point . The Question of the Day started to get folks talking more and I have continued it just to lighten things up, but I must admit, sometimes I am at a loss what to ask LOL. Glad I wont be the only one watching the Olympics from the board. Take care
