Question of the Day

What is your favorite time of year and why? I love the Fall, especially late November and early December when it is a little cooler out but not cold. I love it when I wake up and feel that chill in the air and the leaves start to turn. I hope to some day get to the NC mountains to see the Autumn leaves in full view. One added benefit that time of year is that I look better in Fall colors, my skin looks better and my hair doesnt stick to my head from the humidity LOL Have a great Monday everyone! Amy

First off, Good morning, Amy! Glad to see someone up and thinking this Monday morning. I get up early at my house and no one is usually up for a while. It is nice to talk to someone this morning. ANSWER TO QUESTION I like the Spring the best. The weather isn't super hot and all the plants and trees are blooming out. Sometimes after a rain you can almost here the grass starting to grow. My husband and I watch for the first wild violet. Which ever sees it first, brings the other to see. We don't pick it, we just enjoy it. It tells us spring is here for sure. I can hardly wait each year to put new flowers around the house, inside and out. BTW, Amy, yes, you should see N.C. in the fall. Georgia and Tennessee have the mountains full of color too. Many of the northern states do. It is just that NC is close. Maybe when you are a great loser, you can make the trip. Have a great great day. Carol

Good Morning Amy, I have only one season I do not like and that is Summer. It is HOT, the Humidity is to wet and I can not breath. Let alone the sticky hair and skin. LOL . I too would love to make it back up into the mountains of NC.The patchwork quilted Autumn colors of the mountainside can be breath taking, just as the Wild Flowers on the fields leading up can also look in the Spring. To breath the cool crisp air on a Winter day and see the rainbows dance across the fields from the first glint of sunshine on that snow cover field. So you see the only season I can not get excided about is Summer. Unless you count the joy of watch your Gradchildren play on the beach from your Air Conditioned Room. Hey I guess I do enjoy all seasons. IMP gail

Amy, First of all thank you for posting questions everyday!! It is fun to see what everyone answers. My favorite time of the year is Fall. For all the same reasons. I love it when you can turn off the air conditioner and just open the windows when you feel that first cool wind of the season. I HATE to be hot so it is always a welcome change from the summer. But, hey that might change when I become a loser and there isn't quite so much of me to get hot. But Fall will still be my favorite! Erica

I agree with everything you said Amy. I love the Fall for the air, the colors, the temperatures and you forgot to add pumpkins and indian corn. I love the decorations of Fall, Halloween and Thanksgiving!
