Happy Saturday!

The weekend is here! Woo Hoo! I have a full day planned today. First, I am heading to the Farmer's Market to buy an orchid for my boss' birthday next week then going with my Mom for a manicure and pedicure, then off to Whole Foods for a few dietary things, then the Mall to scour a few clearance racks. And lastly, if my friend can join me, going to a gallery opening tonight where another friend is having her first showing. Somewhere in there I know I will need a big nap I could have never done any of this 6 weeks ago because of my back pain, constantly being out of breath and my lack of energy. I am so grateful that WLS has given me my quality of life back. I feel so lucky I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and be safe Amy 6/02/2004 -48 lbs.

Wow Amy, sounds like you had a great Saturday. How was the art showing? I bet your friend was nervous. And how about you, having all this energy! I know you are loving it. This is the first I've seen you lost 48lbs. Boy that would make me smile. Congratulations and this is just the beginning and you're mom must have been so proud when you saw her yesterday.

Ginny, I am sorry to say that we didnt make it to the gallery opening. By the time I got back home yesterday and called my friend, she wasnt in the mood to socialize with artsy people and to be honest, I was OK with that since I was pretty worn out myself. Although my energy is much better, I'm still not the energizer bunny yet LOL. So we went out to eat and watched shows that she had TIVO'd and I wound up falling asleep on her sofa . Thanks for the congrats and yes, my mom is very happy for me, she said she can really notice my weight loss, especially in my mid-section... woo hoo. Take care, Amy
