Hello gang.  I just wanted to jot down a few things to keep everyone up to date with what is going on with me.  I am currently having NO PAIN!  Yay!!!  My hubby asked me if I thought this was normal considering how I told him that I would probably need to be very careful for a couple of weeks.  I looked at him and just simply said, no.  Not from what I have read and from what I saw with my niece.  But, I guess I am being blessed abundantly so I won't look a gift horse in the mouth because the support team I had in place kinda...well...had their own issues to handle and my hubby is fighting bronchitis.  If because out of necessity or just it being the fact that I have always been the one to look out for me, I'll take it...LOL

I am doing good with all the Vite's & drinking.  I drink till I get the "full" sensation in my chest which kind of feels like a good belch fixing to take place.  I am pureeing my food and tolerating it well.  I walked up my street and back this morning and had my hubby take me to the grocery store and walked the isles there.  I'm a bit tired but nothing too bad.  OK, enough of my poo!  I hope this finds everyone doing well and healing up fine!

You sound like you are making great progress, way to go.  Try to take it easy and remember the restrictions on lifting and such.  The lifting restrictions are NOT NEGOTIABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, I'm glad you are doing so good.  But just expect there to be good days and bad days the first couple of weeks.  A lot of that will be the anesthesia working it's way out of your body.  One day you will feel great the next day you will feel tired all day.  Until then just enjoy the new you; walk, drink, rest, walk, drink, rest, ..........................
