Lap Banders

CAn anyone who has had the Lap Band wls performed, please tell me about their experience...good or bad.

Hi Eric, not had lap band, but did look into it and attended some meetings with a doctor in Zephyrhills. My take, is less invasive, fast recovery, more apt to cheat. Must have band adjusted with saline periodically. The local doctor did not have a support system in place. I am sure there are banders on this site. So you should get some good feed back. Eric -- come on over to the LapBand forum and bring all of your questions. Great group with lots of good information. I am going to have my band surgery done later this year by Dr Jawad in Ocala. I can't wait, I'd have it put in this afternoon if I could!
