items for hospital stay

hi Steve...thanks for your response...everyone buys the tongs or spoon for the toilet paper...thats a great idea...and I thought my poor hubby would have to do me the honors..LOL...i guess he lucked out...i'll buy me a spoon or a tong...LOL I guess I'll prob leave in the same clothes also..as long as their clean, but i might take more just in case..You know us women...always prepared... thanks for everything Steve...i'm glad that your doing ok... take care Mady

I did the same thing as Steve and wore the same outfit home that I wore there. It wasn't planned but made sense since I had only worn it a very short time the day of surgery. I loved my chapstick because your mouth and lips get so dry. I never cracked the book or word search I had with me because I slep****ched TV or just talked to my family. I was just too tired and weak to concentrate much on a book or games the first couple days. I also brought hand creme and had my own toothbrush. The hospital had everything else I needed (shampoo, deodorant, soap, toothpaste, etc) right there in the restroom. I did wish I had brought a fan because I was so hot in my 65 degree room (go figure) and a small pillow to cushion my tummy for the ride home over the bumps. I also sat in the back seat of the car on the ride home and for a few days after because it was roomier and easier to get in and out of than the front seat (obviously, it wasnt a two-door LOL). In the end, I can assure you, most of us take a lot more than we need or ever use. Amy

Lexa, Hang in there! I know it's hard and seems as though you will never reach the end, but you will! Your doing great on your supervised diet, so keep up the great work.
