I'm Approved!!!

Well, the waiting is almost over! Heather from Dr. Jawads office called yesterday and said I am approved. I am so happy!!! I thought for sure BCBS would turn me down because I don't have all the documentation of medically supervised weight loss programs that they ask for. I should know my surgery date by the 20th of this month! Maybe I'll get it for my birthday on the 28th. It could be my re-birth day. I am so excited I'm like a kid waiting for Santa.

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOO HOOO ON THE APPROVAL!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are on your way to being a loser. We will all be anxiously awaiting your date. I hope it is as soon as you would like. That would be great if it was actually in your birthday month. Two birthdays in one month.

Joy, I'm just thrilled for you. If you need an angel, I'd love to volunteer since I am already planning to visit you while you're in the hospital anyway IF you think you'd like that. I'm a neighbor, after all, and I'm at the hospitals every day and Dr. Jawad is also my surgeon, so just let me know. If you're the type that would rather be left alone when you're not feeling 100%, please say something. That's perfectly ok too!!! Anyway, BIG congratulations!!! I will go for approval in early August, right after my last appointment with my PCP.
