SMOKE FREE for 2 days and counting...
well guys i made a decision this weekend that I had this life changing surgery to be healthy and happy, and one of my biggest problems is that I started smoking again a few months ago
I'm not even really sure why I started again, other than the fact that I was under a lot of stress and just had way too much going on and decided that the smoking would help....anyway its not important why I started, the whole point is I decided to QUIT this weekend. It's been 2 days and counting....and honestly I have not thought about it, doing good so far...

WAY TO GO! KEEP IT UP
I know stopping smoking is hard but you are a loser and so I know you are a strong person. Heck you've come so far with your weight. Just keep your hands busy. When I quit smoking (13 years ago****pt something in my hands a lot and chewed gum. When I was sitting around I shelled peas or nuts, did some crocheting, even sat putting lotion on my hands very slowly. Anything to keep my hands away from a cigarette. When I was up and around, just stayed busy. Congrats on the 2 days
You can do it. Just remember all you have already done for your body. Carol

Marta congratulations to you. would you believe I am on day 2 of quitting too...yesterday at 7:30 AM i stood over the toilet and tore up the remaining 3 cigs in the one pack i had.
originally i gave up cigs in 1981 (not a typo) and picked them up again a couple of months ago (trading one addiction for another) and have been playing all the so called tricks like smoking 1/2 a cig, like keeping them in the car, etc. the only thing that is going to work is quitting cold like i did years ago.
i went thru too much to get healthy only to sabatoge my life!
