Question of the Day
What is/was your favorite comfort food before or after WLS?????
Before surgery mine was definitely cream of tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. Yummy!!!! I haven't determined what my comfort food will be since my surgery because I am still trying to determine what solids I like or like me
. Maybe some day I'll try a low carb version of the same.

Comfort food , huh? That's how I got in this condition, I think. I was very comfortable with food.
I think my best comfort food has been a pasta dish. All are good for that but I like to sautee garlic, olive oil, tomato, green onions and maybe shrimp (chicken is good too) in a skillet. Cook for about 4 minutes and add cooked pasta (i use linguine) and put on a plate. Yummy. Yep............I am a happy person then. Carol

Before WLS it was strawberries and whip cream, now it is the same. Only now I buy the strawberries whole and frozen in a bag, I put a few in a bowl with some splendar, put it in the microwave on thaw for 3 minutes, mmmmmm comes out just like the syrupy one in the frozen can. I then put a dollop of lite whipping cream on it. Ohhhhhhhhhh sooo good...and strawberries are a negative food, for all who don't know, thats a food that takes more calories to eat it, than the food contains.
Nothing makes me
sometimes I wi**** did...
Take care,
Rj
