Hmmmpppfffftttt!!!!!!

Well, I spent a ton of money yesterday getting my hair cut, colored and highlighted, was feeling really good about myself. Ive lost 30 lbs now and my confidence is growing. I go back to work tomorrow and that will be interesting because a lot has happened since I have been gone and it's only been three weeks LOL Anyway, I went to sleep with a smile on my face and woke up this morning with a huge zit on the bridge of my nose...I am too old for this Oh joy... your co-workers will be so busy looking at your weight loss, new hair style and smile on your face that they won't even notice the zit! CAROL P.S. where's big rat, fl?

Amy, certain hormone are stored in fat, and when we lose weight these hormones are released into the rest of our bodies, if a zit is the only thing you notice consider yourself lucky. After I had lost 66 pounds my wife talked me into getting my hair colored,(first time in my life), she said she was tired of all the grey. I did not have any idea what to expect. Well, an hour and a half and $100.00 later we were done, 2 days later the grey started coming back. I think I'll go back to the old salt and pepper, I'm more used to 10 minutes and $10.00 haircuts, I'll leave the coloring to you ladies. Congrats on your weight loss, keep it up.

Too funny, Steve! I can only imagine how uncomfortable you were sitting in a salon for an hour and a half with stuff all over your head, listening to all the salon gossip. I know how silly I feel, especially as the men come in to get their hair cuts. But I must admit, I always get an ear full when I am there So far I have only experienced my body making some weird noises that it never made before and now I am re-living my teenage years with blemishes. BTW, I see another one popping up. Where, oh where is Susan from Jax when I need her skincare products and some TLC? LOL Amy

Amy, oh you poor soul, a zit! Well I am well over 50 and have not had wls and I still get zits now and again. Funny thing, never had them as a teenager, go figure. Youwill do just fine at work and let them look. You have earned a new body! Marla
