hi all, thinking of lap-band...actually Dr. says that is the way he wants to go cause of age.. 60 .boo...any coments or suggestions? live in small comm. in south central fla and he is in ocala..150miles away, but willing to go there.

personally i think you should do what YOU want..and ifyou want a bipass... get one... there are plenty of drs out there who willbe willing to perform one

baloney!! i was 58 yrs old when i had my roux-en-y gastric bypass surgery. age was never mentioned to me once either by my primary, the surgeon, cardiologist, not once. follow your instincts and good luck to you. I am and have been fine. carol 9/3/03 288/187
