My dream!
Hello everyone,
I had a dream last night that I got a call from Deborah at Dr. Cox office and she said "your approved". I hated waking up. I wanted it to be real! I am scared and worried I will not be approved or that things just wont work out for me in this journey. Everytime I talk to my PCP I get scared even though he already said he will support me. I am going to call him today and check on my letter. Hopefully he has it done or will get it done this week. Wish me luck ~

A lot of people don't get approved the first time around, so even if they say no (Cigna did to me) you just keep pushing. Find out their exact reasons for denial, if they do deny you, and then send them all the information to show that you really really really meet the requirements. Don't let them push you around!!!

If I had dreams like that I would want to stay asleep too!!! 
....But what did you do before you went to sleep that would create such a wonderful dream???? Because I want to have one too...Just to see how an approval will feel....
...I had to go to the ER to get my CPAP checked and my head gear...
...But it was to my advantage because now I have yet 1 more sheet of paper that says I have sleep apnea!!! I never thought that would make me so happy before...
....It also says I have athritis in my knees...wrists...and ankles....More proof because it says in the paper that I got....That you have to loose weight and not get obese to not have pain...Then says I have pain and athritis...Yipeeeeee........That's something else I thought would not make me this happy......It's like a treasure hunt getting all these documents together....Don't you think???? This journey is definitly a treasure hunt! I keep learning more and more about myself as I travel this long road.

Michelle Keep on them Michelle.....And you are no Brat!!!...... But if you don't they won't worry about it.....People are strange in the fact that...If it's not for them...They don't really care..
..If I was waiting for it...I would call every other day and maybe stop in to see...Then they will get it done...When I get mine ready...I am going to tell them I will wait in the lobby while he signs it.....Then he will so It will be one more than he is done with....Usually they sign it right away to get you done and gone....Smile a lot and it will make them feel guilty for making you wait!!!! ....LOL....But keep on top of it or they will forget again.....I would probably call Tuesday and Wednesday both...If an ER can do all that in a few hours...A PCP can certainly do it in a day....Right???? Hey that dream was awesome!! I will be going down to Dr. Cox's next week. For the info session and everything else but I have an Important question for you, What info. does the psych. ask, how does that work?
I'm nervous for all 4 of us you, Erika, Angie and myself!

Don't be worried about the psych. evaluation. Dr. Zimmerman (if that's who you are seeing) is a really nice guy and makes you feel comfortable. He ask basic questions and you do several assesments at the end. I just found out yesterday that Dr. Zimmerman has cleared me for surgery ~pending~ I make an appt. with another Phych. locally for regualr visits, until I have surgery. I hate that I have to do this, but if it's the only way then I have no choice. He wants me to get help with my coke addiction and bindge eating! So I will be calling about this today as well. Good Luck with all your testing! Let us know how it goes!
