Anyone in the NW panhandle?

Thanks for the response. I am looking forward to my surgery in early March. Are you in any kind of support group. I am really looking for someone to work out with also.

 

Hi Ladies, I'm in pensacola I know no one that is in my boat or has been. It's nice to find people in my area. I had my surgery with Dr. Friedman on Feb1 st 2010. If any of you have facebook please add me, Would love to talk to folks who are going through the same thing.

I don't attend any of the support groups. I hate Weigh****chers meetings, and I just haven't ventured to our support group here.

I live in Navarre, and work out at home in our mini-gym/garage.

When I did go to the gym, I went to www.meetup.com and joined some local ladies/moms groups and met a few work out buddies through that venue.

Nice to meet others in my area as well. I have been keeping all this undercover until I feel comfortable telling people so i am keeping it off Facebook right now.

 

I can totally understand keeping it all undercover, There are some people i tell and some i just don't want to know. You can add me on here, I'm great with facebook but still learning how to use this website lol

will_be , I hope your surgery went well and you are resting... I'm 10days post-op and it gets easier to move with time! I couldn't get a profile page to open, so this had to be posted here! Good luck !

THANKS! I am 10 days now myself. some days are better than others. One thing that amazes me is the different doctors and their rules. I mean like I came home on soft foods. Some people on here spend weeks on liquids after surgery. I wonder why that is. If I had to be on iquids for three weeks after surgery i would have killed someone by now. lol

Hello I am new to this site and I am 29 and just starting the process of getting the approval for my insurance. I live in pensacola but i dont know anyone in this area.
