New Support group in Tampa

We would like to Welcome you to Bay Area Weight Loss Surgery Support. This is a support group located in Tampa Florida.Our local meetings are open to anyone who has either had or is thinking about having weight loss surgery of any kind.

Our main goal is uniting weight loss surgery patients from around the Tampa Bay are...a; supporting each other by sharing ideas and information, and forming a local weight loss surgery community, focused on a healthy active life.

We are very excited about meeting everyone and getting to know each others WLS world. We are open to all suggestion and topics of concerns at our meetings. We look forward to learning new and old things.

One really exciting thing about this group and where it is held, it has a full restaurant style kitchen. So we can learn to cook together and healthier. That is just one of the most exciting things we have planned for this support group.

Our First support group meeting will be announced soon. Stay tuned..........

No updates yet, I am working on things and getting ready to start a new job. Give me a little more time to workout a couple things.

I too moved here (Tampa) from the north (Ohio).
I have not found a support group yet, and I am in a real need for some.
I had lap band surgery in Feb of 2008.
Hope we all can get together.
