Info on Dr Robert Thomas Winter Haven

Hello everyone, I am inquiring about Dr Thomas because my sister Beverly (she just Joined this site) has a consult with him. He has been a surgeon 20 years. However, according to what I was reading on his info area he has only 20 WLS under his belt. We heard he was at one time in Ft Myers I think. Does anyone out there have any information about him such as his credientials and if your a patient what can you tell us?? My sister is very dear to me and I want to make sure she is in good hands. I to am hopefully having the WLS by fall. Just waiting for my consult and all the required stats to be done. I CAN'T wait. Bev and I will be two fab DIVAS!!!! I thank you so much for your time. Hi There! I was on a really great chat the other night with a great surgeon. He said it is critical to have someone who has done atleast 50 of the exact type of surgery you are having. You may want to look elsewhere! I'd make dang sure he is very skilled at WLS. It is extremely technical, and your LIFE is in that surgeons hands!!! Good Luck, Gabriella
