Hello everyone!!!!!!

Well tomorrow is the first big day for me or should I say big step.... I have a dr appointment tomorrow with my endocrinlogist. We discussed the surgery on my last visit 6 weeks ago, and when I go back tomorrow we are going to have a heart to heart talk about it. He has already said that he would give me a referal to the surgeon. He put me on meridia and it was hell. It is to expensive and I can't take the side effects. So keep your fingers crossed for me. I will let you all know what happens tomorrow night. Spring

Hi Spring, I also live in Fl. I know what you mean about the meridia, I was on that and then switched to Zenical which absolutly drained my bank acc.and I lost maybe 5lbs. and spent alotta time on the jon I am also a diabetic and I can't wait to see a day where I dont have to shoot up first thing in the morning, I hate it!! Hopefully I will have my surgery in feb 2004 My doc is Erick Thoburn in Gainsville, I hear he has a wonderful record.have you been to any wls meeting yet? keep in touch! Hi Mary!!!!! Thanks for the kind words. I wish you luck on your surgery....... Hopefully I will be as excited as you one day. Do you happen to have Yahoo or MSN messengers???? I would like to chat with you sometime. As far as I know there is no WLS meetings in my neck of the woods. I am 50 miles west of Tallahassee in hicksville. It would be great if there was one around here in the sticks. LOL!!!!!!!! I don't have to take the shot yet and hope I won't ever..... The surgery will keep that from happening I hope.
