does it have any problem when you have surgery.with the open rny.

Helen, not quite sure what you are asking...if you are asking if there is pain with open RnY...yes, as much as there is with any type of surgery. If you are asking is you can have the surgery when you are already on pain medication...I'm sure you can but you would probably have to come off it at a certain point just before surgery.
