Does anyone know if having three previous c-sections and a hysterectomy will keep me from...

I had all my three kids by c-section and a hysterectomy about 11 years ago. Would the scarring keep me from having the WLS. I was reading some of the Q & A's and it made wonder about this. I hope that this does'nt, because I really need this surgery. Help!!!

Hi Cathy. I have had 1 child C-section, my gallbladder out and my appendix and right ovary out. I am having Lap Rny on January 6th. My Dr. said it depends on the amount of scar tissue they find. He also has a 300 lb limit otherwise he does it open. Good luck! Lori

Hey Lori, Good luck with your surgery and I'll be praying that you come thru with no complications!!! Thanks for the info, I am not at 300 lbs yet and I hope not get there since I only started my journey in October and have to go thru a year of dietician/nutritionist and logged exercise.
