Good morning everyone, I just left the weight planner (first time visiting the site ) and now I'm in TEARS Why you may ask, well I had just come to terms that my body is in a league of it's own and I'm proud of where I've come from when low and behold the weight planner tells me I should have lost 100 pounds by three months needless to say I'm not at that projected goal I'm 60 pounds out and proud of it. My surgeon said I was doing great, but I'm having sooooo much trouble BELIEVING that. I walk two miles daily and drink 64 oz of water and try to get in at least 60 grams of protein a day (EATING) no protein shakes NONE I LIKE OR COULD HOLD DOWN. I'm open to ALL suggestions HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLP!!!!!! MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

Nothing is wrong with you. Everyone's body is different. 60 pounds is a GREAT loss. I have lost 80 in 3.5 months. I know someone else who has lost 66 pounds in the same amount of time. We all lose weight differently and you shouldn't compare with others. Those weight planners are not scientifically based. You have other factors to consider: age, metabolic function, the presence of any health factors (PCOS, Diabetes, etc.), exercise level, you could be building muscle while losing fat and the scale won't show as big a loss, etc. Don't get discouraged. And be thankful - without the surgery you would likely have not lost anything. I don't get why people are so obsessed with the weight loss - you have had the surgery and will have a different lifestyle and eating pattern FOR LIFE. So what if it takes you a little longer than others to get the weight off? If you are walking and drinking and eating enough protein you are following the plan and will lose the weight.

Good Morning "Queen Diva" First let me say..CONGRATS on that WONDERFUL weightloss! I am not positive, but I am guessing that when you decided to chose weight loss surgery it was a day you come to terms with every aspect of your life...and, gaining control of it! On that note, my diva..Dont let some "weight planner" determine anything for YOU! The rewards of your accomplishments thus far shine through in your words here, now let them shine on your face and in your heart! Nothing is wrong with you! You seem to being doing what is needed, and your Surgeon is pleased with your progress---Get rid of that planner, and forget that 'projected' goal it has set.And try not to compare your weightloss with others, we all lose differently.(Remember 'one size Does Not fit ALL-Lord knows we know the true meaning of that!) YOU, Queen Diva, keep your head up high and think 60 pounds gone!!! Its not a race, and you WILL get there, in Your Own bodies time. Please know these words are from my heart and expressed in the most positive way. I too went to the site here to get an idea where it THOUGHT I should be too....I wasnt then....but I am well beyond it NOW!! It will come off Deborah...Trust in the Lord, Trust in your surgeon, and always..always trust in YOURSELF! -giggle- So in closing, you asked for suggestions, and as always-I rambled..my suggestion, Love yourself, completely--and dont go back to that planner!! 60 POUNDS!!!! 60 POUNDS!!!! W0W! May you always be blessed and forever thankful

Deborah: One thing my nutritionist told me is that weight training help you lose more weight. So beside the walking, I think you should add some weight to your exercise regimen.
