still waiting for approval

I am entering week 2 of the approval vigal. Time seems to be moving sooooo slow. Just get it over with and say YOUR APPROVED!!! Because I'll fight a denied to the end. I want to say thank you to Shirley in Dr. Saranto's office for being patient and so wonderful to all of us. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Hang in there everyone we'll get there sooner or later. Dear Deanna, My name is Brenda and I had to wait the vigil game and then fight 2 appeals. If this happens to you, don't get depressed, GET MAD!!!!@!@this is the only way you will get the approval that you need. You are your best advocate. I hope things go smooth for you. I had my WLS on July 9th and am so glad I did. I'm still very sore, but I feel better for the most part. I will include you in my prayers, as I believe that prayer realy changes things, it did in my fight to have my WLS. Brenda in Apopka, FL

Deanna, I have just joined you in the waiting game. Patrice from Dr. Overcash's office told me that United H'care HMO can take up to 4 weeks to review and approve. I am trying to think about other things, but it's really hard. Once we make this decision, it seems to be the focal point of our life. Hope your wait is over soon. Robin

I too am waiting approval...but not even for approval for me to have the surgery...but for the doc I want to perform the surgery to be accepted by the insurance company...THEN i will be in the waitin for approval for surgery catergory...CALLLLLLGHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNN take me a away....LOL... Its all in a matter of time, but time seems to stand still...hey if u get behind time and push...then ill stand in front of time and pull...then maybe we can get time to move....
