Laposcropic procedure
Someone had posted lookin for a dr. that did the surgery LAP and I spoke with Dr. Benitez office...he does to it, but remember each person is different....there fore u may or may not be a candidate for that procedure...check it out all the way thru...be open to the fact that they may be in there to do it LAP but find they cant and have to open you up...NO im not tryin to discourage anyone...but keep your mind open to all the pros and cons..

I just had a lap RNY on the 9th of July. My doc was Dr. M. Juwad in Ocala, FL. I had the surgery on Wed and went home on Thurs night. I had a little trouble with my blood pressure, but that was quickly resloved. Some years back I had an exploratory lap for some stomach problems that could not be diagnosed with out the exp laprotomy. I will tell you that the laproscopic procedure is a lot less painful. When I was scheduled for the RNY we did not know if I would be able to have it done through the scopes. Dr. Jawad said it was a little more difficult, but not immposible. I am so glad he was able to do it through the scopes. As someone who has had abd surgery both ways, I whole hardily reccomend the Laproscopic if at all possible....Brenda in Apopka, FL
