I'm in Keys for a Month, and need a band dr

Yes, I should have been more prepared.

I am in Keys, Marathon area, for a month. All of a sudden, I'm having band problems after 3 years with no problems. My dr is 900 miles away. Is there a band dr nearby.

If you know, let me know. I'd rather not go to Miami area if I can help it. I think just drawing out some of the fluid in my band would help alleviate my problem. And if it is gall bladder, which might be a possiblity, then the band dr would know how to remove the gall bladder and save my band, which I'm also worried about.

If no one responds with an actual name -- you might try calling the hospitals in the area to see if they do bariatric surgery and who does it.

I had another thought.  Call the toll free number for your band manufacturer and ask them who in the area uses that band.
