Does anyone have any info on Dr. Robert Marema in St. Augustine or when he was in Orlando trying to decide if he is for me.

I don't know him, but I have heard great things from his patients.  I used Dr. Rosenthal at Cleveland Clinic (Weston).  I adore him.

I've only heard that folks were happy with him, but have no experience personally.  I went with Dr Kim and was/am very happy.

Dr. Marema was my doctor and I absolutely loved him. He just did a seminar last night. They have seminars the first Tuesday of every month. He is a great doctor. I can't say enough good things about him. One thing that makes him special is that he has had a gastric bypass himself so he does understand what we go through. I would recommend him to anyone. If you want to know specifics, let me know. They are getting ready to move their office to Sand Lake Road and I was given the address at last nights support group meeting in Lake Mary.

I am a patient of Dr. Marema and I think he is GREAT!!!!!  I would definetly reccommend him.  Not only is he very knowledgeable, but he also has a great bedside manner, and is very down to earth.  His office staff is exceptional also.

Dr M. is my doctor and he is wonderful.  He takes the TIME to talk to you about what options you have for surgery, he LISTENS to you and explains all of the details regarding before and after surgery to you.  The education that is provided prior to your surgery is very important and Dr. M. and his staff do a wonderful job in helping as much as they can.  I was assisted with help in getting my insurance to approve my surgery, nutritional seminars, the nurses and staff answered a million questions, etc....

I live in Orlando but Dr. M. only does his surgeries out of St Augustine hospital - which was a great hospital, followed by after care at his Celebration office.  He is moving to a new office off of Sand Lake Rd this month.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. M. and his staff.  If you have any other specific questions, I am happy to help you!

I just had my surgery on 3/25/2009, and Dr M did my surgery. I think the staffand Dr M is the best in Fl. If you do what they tell you, you will have no problems. The only thing that I have that is hard is the food intake and water, hopefuly this will get better in time. The hospital is great to. I just can't say anything bad with everything. I was in the Hospital on Wednesday and went home on Thursday. I had the GBP. Good Luck with your surgery.
