Hotel near Miami International Airport and Dr. Gagner

Hi - I am travelling from Canada to see Dr. Gagner this Friday.  I am looking for an inexpensive, yet clean, hotel that will have airport shuttle provided and perhaps even be within walking distance or very close to Dr. Gagner.

Any help would be so much appreciated.

Can't help you with hotels, but are you certain Dr. Gagner's still in Miami?  I know he's moving his practice back to NY and was under the impression he might have already done so. 

Yes, he still there, Ruth has been in-touch with him & has already set up an appointment. He is moving his practice back to NY, I just don't know the time frame.

Geez Ruth.  Anything to get a vacation, huh?  lol

Have I missed something in the OHIP battle?  Did you get approval?

I was under the same impression as previous poster. Dr. Gagner moving back to NY...his last surgery being done in Florida was 2/28. I know many are planning to see him as patients for scheduled follow ups in NY.

Hi  - thanks for your reply - yes, Dr. Gagner has left Miami - I did see him there on Feb. 27th for a consultation.  I believe he will be announcing at the end of the month what hospital he will be working at.
