Anyone here in Florida Have had duodendal Switch surg

Hi I live in North Ft myers Florida I would like to meet someone here who has had this surgery. I had mine in Indiana  Nov.2005. I have been surprise that I gain some of the weight back. I exercise / Thanks Barb

Me-- I had the DS July 2006 with Dr. Anthone.  There are not that many of us DSers in Florida but there are a few.

Hi...my name  is Laura and I live in Cape Coral. I had the DS 5.5 years ago in Brazil with Dr. Antelmo Sasso Fin. I lost all my overage and my weight has been pretty stable with a normal BMI. It is a bit of a problem having no one in the area informed well about the surgery but my PCP has been willing to do what ever I tell him is necessary so my post op care has  been good. You sound like you have had your "bounce"....I had a small one but still remained with a normal BMI...I also exercise.

I traveled to have my surgery with Dr. Gagner in Miami on Feb 18th.  I am loving my surgery!  When is your surgery scheduled?  I look forward to hearing great things from you!
