Jacksonville Support Group

I am looking for a support group here in jacksonville to join? 

Where do you live? Or should i say what part of town?

Flagler hospital has one the first thurday of each month.

Not sure about any others.. You could probably call St. vincents since they are doing lap band i belive, and baptist is getting ready to do lap band...

If you can get on base, JAX naval hospital has a meeting once a month also!

Good luck---there are a few in Jacksonville.
Each local surgeon basically has their own, but there are two independent ones.

Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine offers an awesome support group, the first Thursday of the month. It starts at 7pm with a social hour. 7:30 it is  followed by a barief 15 minute talk from a liscened mental health counselor then open discussion.

February they are having a special event on Friday 2/6. If you are interested in going call them at the Customer Relations Department at 904-819-4789.

Otherwise the support group is the first Thursday of the month. It is not a far drive from Jax.
