NEW-Melbourne Support Group on 7/29/08!

Ok, I know you're reading this - but I need some input if this is a not a good time or day.  We need to create our own support group.  Therefore, I say no time but the present!!

Melbourne Square Mall - Food Court (in front of Starbucks)

Anyone interested, pls. msg. me so I know how many to expect.

C-There, since your starting a Support Group in Melbourne have you've considered taking the free Obesity Help Tele-Course to be certified as an OH Leader. Then you'd be able to offer those attending other free perks such as the OH Magazine every two months and product samples amongst other stuff. And as a leader you get to attend all OH Events for free too.

Mike is there a link or phone number  to more info about the Obesity Help Tele-Course to be certified as an OH Leader I am interested in perhaps starting a WLS meetup group.

 If you click on the "Support Groups" at the top of the forum page, then click on Support Group Leaders there is info for you to submit an application or you can contact them by email to get more info about the telecasts.

This was worth the effort, one person showed up as I was getting up to leave.  I just wish I had as many responses as I had views to my post.  I will try again at a different location, day and time.  Perserverance has its rewards :)   

Once again I am a day late and a dollar short.  I do not get online everyday and unfortunately saw this only this morning.  I would have come.  I am a 5 year post op RNY and my son is in the process of trying to get the surgery in Celebration.  My e-mail address is [email protected].  If you have another meeting please let me know.  I will be better about checking this out more often.  I wish you the best of luck getting this rolling.

I have been trying to start a Support Group Mtg. for Brevard County.  In order for this to work, people need to respond to this post, give input - not just view the post and say they can't make it.  Here are some dates and times I have in mind, which ever gets the most input, is the date and time we go with.  If we have interest in 2 locations, we can go with that too.  Please email me DIRECTLY from my profile page with your contact info so I can contact you with the results and keep you current with info.
