Polk County FL WLS Support Group
We just wanted to take a few minutes to remind you of our Weight Loss Surgery Support Group meeting in Lakeland, Florida. Our first meeting will be tomorrow night (Tuesday, May 20th) at 7:00pm at the Community Southern Bank on South Florida Avenue. Guests are also welcome. The bank asks that you park in the back of the building and enter from the front. If you cannot make it for this meeting, please keep in mind that we will be meeting the third Tuesday of the month, feel free to join us as your schedule allows.

You can use our message board and chat area to catch up with others from the group! We have already started a list of helpful links and would like to add a lot more information with your help.

Beverly, I am so happy you and your husband were able to attend the meeting and I really appreciate your kind words. Here is the link I had told you about that has information on the different types of surgery. Keep in mind some of the insurance information may be out dated but I think the information specific to the surgery is good.
