Does anyone know when the next post op support group meeting at TGH is?

Hey Jodi,
I wanted to let you know that I went to the pre op support group meeting tonight at TGH and I asked Susan about the next post op support group meeting and it is Tuesday the 20th at 6:30pm.
She wasn't sure but she thought it was Dr. Durkin from USF Resident plastic surgery group as the guest speaker.

I just wanted to say that I attended the meeting last night and was very impressed. I will have to go through 6 months of pcp 'attempted' weight loss before I can even be considered, but it will be worth it in the long run. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. That's pretty much a neccessity when contemplating a life change. I appreciate everyone's input!
I also attended the informational seminar and then the support group meeting this week at TGH. I especially appreciated the honesty and candor of the post op patients during the small group conversations - it really was helpful to me.
Initally, I was leaning towards LapBand, but after the seminar and talking with the post op patients - I am now thinking that Gastric Bypass would be a better option for me.
