June 7th Orlando OH Conference

Well OH is definitely coming to Orlando on June 7th! I believe the hotel is the Sheraton Downtown Orlando. Who is coming??? These conferences are a great way to meet online buddies, reinvigorate your commitment and learn new and workable techniques for success. Speakers so far are Dr. Overcash, Dr. Bernard Shuster and Jeremy Gentles. I believe OH is working on a 'Biggest Loser' surprise for us as well. Let me hear from you if you are coming so we can plan a Meet & Greet. Paula

Paula- I was not able to go last year because they scheduled it on the same day we have our support group and wouldn't you know it they did it again this year!  My support group only meets every other month! Last year they would not let someone attend the meet and greet if they were not going to the conference.  I thought that was pretty stinky -- is that how it is going to work this year too?

I did not know that had happened. I did not organize the Meet & Greet last year. Why don't you have your meeting at the conference. Invite the whole group to attend. It is a lot of fun when you go with a group. Regards, Paula

I don't think OH was responsible for the meet and greet last year.  I've always heard that local individuals plan meet and greets.  Sorry that happened last year. 

Oh well, maybe next year!

I live in Orlando and plan on attending.  This will be my first OH Conference looking forward to it.  Not to sure what the meet and greet is all about Neice

Hi I am so glad you will be attending the June 7th conference. It is a day to reaffirm our commitment and further our education. The Meet & Greet is just an informal social event where both out of towners and locals get to meet face to face. One year we met in a local restaurant that was accommodating to our needs and gave us a semi private room to Meet & Greet. Everyone ordered what they wanted and paid their own way. No one was excluded. Last year the event was sponsored by one of the hospitals. It was free to conference participants which was why it was restricted. Since I am not in Orlando I cannot arrange for local sponsors. I would be just as happy if we all just met at a restaurant. Do you have a suggestion for a location? Paula

Paula - health is back on track. I met with Dr Shuster and Paryce on 3/14. Somewhat conservative in my approach to LBL since there is come concern to proper wound healing especially given my track record.  I do wish Steinmart would reconsider..... Has anyone approached corp? Can't wait to see everyone again! B
